ER and Dexter actress Mara dies

Mary Mara has died in what appears to be a drowning accident. Mara guest-starred on TV shows such as Ray Donovan, Dexter and ER in a career that spanned over 30 years. Police said Mara, 61, was found Sunday in the St. Lawrence River near Cape Vincent, N.Y. They added that a cause of death is still pending, but there were no signs of foul play and it appeared Mara drowned while swimming. Mara's onscreen career started with 1989's The Preppie Murder, going on to include films such as Mr. Saturday Night and Prom Night.
